David Goodnow, managing editor of WorldNetDaily Radio News, will be
featured on CBN’s 700 Club on Wednesday, March 29.
The segment is expected to focus on Goodnow’s personal faith as well
as his journalistic professional decision to join the staff of
WorldNetDaily.com after having served as CNN’s veteran news anchor for
17 years. The story will also be available as a webcast on
CBN.org on Wednesday.
Goodnow signed-off television and logged-on to WorldNetDaily.com in
February. He is managing the formation of WorldNetDaily Radio News, a
24 hour, 7 day a week news broadcast scheduled to launch later this
year. Goodnow will work with WorldNetDaily.com reporters and editors as
well as new staff to create the top-of-the-hour radio newscast to
compete with CNN, ABC, CBS and a handful of other companies offering
such a service. The WorldNetDaily Radio News division will be
headquartered in Atlanta.
Joining CNN Headline News in October 1982, Goodnow was one of the
original national and international anchors and helped break some of the
major stories of the ’80s and ’90s as a live CNN anchor. He was the
first U.S. broadcast reporters to announce the death of Soviet leader
Leonid Brezhnev and anchored live coverage of Desert Storm with on-scene
