A committee of the Arkansas Supreme Court has recommended that
William Jefferson Clinton, the current president of the United States,
be disbarred from the practice of law for lying under oath in the Paula
Jones case.

Bill, through his lawyers, says that they shouldn’t disbar him if
they treat his case like any other case of a lawyer who lies under oath
to a federal judge.

Bill, you are not a country lawyer from rural Arkansas. You may act
like one, but you’re not one. You are not just another attorney, and we
must hold you to a higher level of performance.

Bill, for a few more months, you will continue to be the president of
the greatest and most powerful country in the world. Your series of
failed peace initiatives are chilling reminders of how much damage you
have done to the office of the president. Nevertheless, that too will
pass when you and Hillary finally slide off the stage.

However, your law license is something important. You should lose it
for lying to the American people and to a federal judge … while under
oath.

Remember, Bill, while your marriage oath obviously means nothing to
you, the oath you took as president and as an attorney does mean
something.

You appointed all of the U.S. attorneys and the U.S. attorney
general. You are, in legal terms, the top of the pyramid, and that
demands that you be held to a higher standard. We cannot allow you to
lie under oath and get away with it.

You are the top law enforcement officer of the United States. We
cannot allow you to lie under oath and get away with it.

You have appointed half of all the federal judges in the United
States. We cannot allow you to lie to a federal judge while under oath
and get away with it.

You are the commander in chief of our military and the CEO of the
federal government. Millions of military personnel and thousands of
secret service agents have sworn that they will lay down their lives to
protect you and all that the presidency is supposed to represent.

We cannot allow you to lie under oath and get away with it. We must
punish you in this life. We must strip you of your license to practice
law.

Bill, your lies to a federal judge while under oath dishonor these
brave men and women. In fact, if you had any honor, you would not only
voluntarily relinquish your law license, you would resign as president.

Sadly, you have spent your entire life trying to lower standards. You
have lowered the standard of decency. You have lowered the standard of
marriage. You have lowered the standard of trust. You have lowered the
standard of truth, and now you want to lower the standard of personal
responsibility.

If we allow you to get away with lying under oath, no oath will mean
anything in this country. We must not allow that to happen.

We must disbar you, for the good of the nation.

We must disbar you for the honor of honor.

We must disbar you to show the world that America has not become a
Third World country where the powerful operate by different rules.

We must disbar you to tell the world that a man’s word still means
something in America, even if he is the president.
