I have been reading WND for a few years now, and I read the letters to editors every day. The one thing that I have seen over and over during an election season is the fear that if we don't vote to prevent someone from being elected, the world will fall apart. This happened during the Bush/Gore fight and the Bush/Kerry fight. We saw the hanging chad issue play out, and we saw the Swift boat issue come up. All this has been played out over and over throughout history.
The fear-mongering is what has gotten us into this mess to begin with. This is why we have the lesser of two evils to choose from. People have been voting for self-serving reasons for far too long. Now, we end up with someone that is a liberal in sheep's clothing and someone who is a clone of Karl Marx. We have painted ourselves into a corner – but there is not a loss of hope.
I have hope that we will survive this, regardless who wins. In Daniel 2:21, it says: "And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding."
God is in charge, regardless of what is going on down here. He will set up His king, regardless of what we think. He is not up in heaven wringing His hands wondering what to do. He knows exactly what is going on, and He has had this day on the heavenly calendar before the foundation of the earth.
We, as God-fearing, Bible-believing Christians, cannot worry what the world is going to do if Obama gets elected. If it is God's will, then Obama will be elected. It is up to us to vote our consciences and leave the results up to God. We have to find the person that best represents our values, that is also a God-fearing, Bible-believing Christian, one that will, if elected, follow God's word and will adhere to the U.S. Constitution.
TRENDING: To DEI for
Of all the candidates out there, there is only one that I found that is a Bible-believing Christian and has promised to follow the Constitution to the letter, and that is Chuck Baldwin. Will he win the election? Only if it is God's will. He has provided us a viable candidate that will follow God's Word and will adhere to the Constitution. It is up to us to vote for him, regardless of what the media, Hollyweird, your co-workers and family says.
Doing the right thing is not always popular, but it is always right. There are absolutes out there. There is absolute Truth, and the Truth is, this country is already in judgment from God. We have removed God from every aspect of our lives, so God has removed His Protective Hand from this nation. The debauchery in the streets, the corruption in the government and private sector, the crime that runs rampant, the calling of evil good and good evil. It is as the Days of Noah. God has turned us over to the perverted and corrupt to rules us.
He wants us to cry out to Him. It is up to us to obey Him, cry out and follow Him. When His people cry out to Him, He will hear them. Exodus 3:7: "Then the LORD said, 'I have observed the misery of My people in Egypt, and have heard them crying out because of their oppressors, and I know about their sufferings.'" Also, in Isaiah 30:19, "For you people will live on Zion in Jerusalem and will never cry again. He will show favor to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears, He will answer you."
There are numerous versus where God says cry out to Him, and He will answer. But it involves not only crying out, but a total repentance of our sins and turning to and following Him. Then and only then will God hear you. He doesn't want to hear whining; He wants to hear us ask for His forgiveness for our covetousness, pride, our evil thoughts and actions, our hating of our neighbors, our gossiping, our slothfulness, our stealing from Him (not giving what is God's to Him) – the list goes on and on. We ask this in humility and brokenness, admitting that we have sinned against a holy God whom we will stand before one day. How can we stand before a holy God knowing we have elected someone that believes in the killing of the most innocent in our nation?
We are in the final stages of tyranny. This nation is dependent on the government for its every need. With the financial crisis now going on, it will take only a power-hungry individual to get into office, suspend the Constitution and create a dictatorship. Both leading candidates have proven in their track records that they could do this.
It is time to vote every one of them out, and clean house. We can elect people that have never been there and will get some work done, or we can keep painting ourselves more into that corner and worry about what the next election is going to bring.
Do your research, and quite listening to the media. Turn them off, and do your own work in finding the best candidate that can lead this nation.
As far as I am concerned, I have placed it in God's Hands and will vote my conscience this time. I will not be scared or intimidated into voting for the lesser of two evils. How about you?
