Editor’s note: Do you need something to smile about? Every day, WND selects the best joke offered up by readers and contributors to its Laughlines forum and brings it to you as the WND Joke of the Day. Here is today’s offering:
Towards the end of the service, the minister asked, “How many of you have forgiven your enemies?”
Eighty percent of the congregation’s members held up their hands.
The minister then repeated his question. All responded this time, except one elderly gentleman.
“Sir, are you not willing to forgive your enemies?” the minister asked.
“I don’t have any,” he replied, smiling kindly.
“That is very unusual. How old are you?”
“One hundred,” he replied.
“Would you please come to the front and tell us all how a person can live 100 years and not have an enemy in the world?”
The elderly gentleman tottered down the aisle, faced the congregation, and stated triumphantly, “I outlived them all!”
