The state of Hawaii has made a series of procedural changes that would allow officials to destroy President Obama’s original long-form birth certificate, concealing its contents forever.
“We know from a document posted on June 10, 2009, on the Department of Hawaiian Homelands website that, up until very recently, either the original paper Certificates of Live Birth and/or scanned images of those paper certificates were maintained by the Dept of Health, and copies of them were provided to confirm claims of Hawaiian ancestry,” said a newly posted update to the report.
“But if in June 2009 the Department of Hawaiian Homelands has decided that it will no longer require the original Certificate of Live Birth as proof for special privileges and the Department of Health spokesman says firmly that they will no longer provide copies of these original certificates, is it possible that, in the midst of the controversy over where Barack Obama was born, the Hawaiian state govt has destroyed the original paper certificate of live birth?” continued the investigator’s report.
“This seems almost incredible to me, but the authorities have been so deceptive and evasive on this issue, that it cannot be dismissed as impossible,” the report concluded.
Even such a draconian move probably would not finish questions about Obama’s origins, however, since WND has reported that among other documentation not yet available for Obama is his kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and his adoption records.
WND reported earlier on the fact that while the Hawaii Health Department says it currently only issues a “Certification of Live Birth,” the state’s Department of Hawaiian Home Lands required an original “Certificate of Live Birth” to qualify for its programs.
“This is a more complete record of your birth than the Certification of Live Birth,” said the Homelands website. “Submitting the original Certificate of Live Birth will save you time and money since the computer-generated Certification requires additional verification by DHHL.”
However, at the height of questions over the various documents, the state’s DHHL suddenly changed its website reference to allow for the “Certification of Live Birth” as a formal authentication document.
The investigator commissioned by the CIA officer said the change followed a statement from the state, through spokeswoman Janice Okuba, that the state did not release copies of original birth certificates any longer.
“Ms. Okubo’s statement gave the false impression that Obama could not gain access to or release ‘the original Certificate of Live Birth,’ and that it was the DOH’s policy rather than his own reluctance that was responsible for the holding back of this Certificate,” the investigator said
“This was an obvious deception. The document at the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands website indicates that at the time she made this statement it was false, and that a procedure was in place for application for ‘the original Certificate of Live Birth,’” the report said.
“Only the information on the original birth certificate, ‘the original Certificate of Live Birth,’ can demonstrate to the people of the United States whether there is convincing evidence that he was actually born here or whether a relative or two (or possibly even Barack Obama himself) just made a statement to that effect to a low level bureaucrat,” the report said.
The action sometime between June 10 and 18 upgraded “the apparent status of the abbreviated Certification of Live Birth which it had formerly regarded as insufficiently probative. Why?” said the report.
WND reported earlier that the document Obama posted on his campaign website and distributed to select news organizations as proof he was a “natural born citizen” would not be accepted as a “birth certificate” even for some Hawaiian state government eligibility issues.
Okubo also has said the state began issuing only “Certifications of Live Birth” in 2001 when the health department went paperless. It is only available in electronic form, she said.
Hawaii’s director of health, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, also this week issued a second statement that she has seen the “original birth records” that verify Obama was born in Hawaii and is a “natural-born American citizen.”
But in two separate telephone interviews with WND, Okubo, the health department’s public information officer, told WND that Hawaii law prohibited her from commenting on the birth records of any specific person.
WND also reported the Hawaii Department of Heath said no paper birth certificate records were destroyed when the department moved to electronic record-keeping in 2001.
That statement from Okubo contradicted CNN U.S. President Jon Klein, who ordered host Lou Dobbs to quit discussing Obama’s birth certificate on the air. Klein insisted the issue was “dead” because Obama’s original long-form birth certificate had been destroyed by the Hawaii DOH in the conversion to electronic files.
