Editor’s note: Do you need something to smile about? Every day, WND selects the best joke offered up by readers and contributors to its Laughlines forum and brings it to you as the WND Joke of the Day. Here is today’s offering:
There was a haunted house on the outskirts of town which was avoided by everyone, because the ghost which “lived” there was feared by all.
However, an enterprising journalist decided to get the scoop of the day by photographing the fearsome phantom. When he entered the house, armed with only his camera, the ghost descended upon him, clanking chains, scary voice and all.
He told the ghost, “I mean no harm. I just want your photograph for the newspaper.” The ghost was quite happy at this chance to make the headlines, and he posed for a number of ghostly shots.
The excited journalist rushed back to his dark room and began developing the photos. Unfortunately, they turned out to be black and underexposed.
Though the spirit was willing, the flash was weak.
