The Chicago way.
Editor's note:Do you need something to smile
about? Every day, WND selects the best joke offered up by readers and
contributors to its Laughlines forum and brings it to you as the WND Joke of the Day. Here is
today's offering:
A man was telling his co-worker that the company was planning to transfer
him to Chicago. He explained that he would quit his job before he'd even
consider moving to the "crime-ridden city."
His co-worker urged him to reconsider.
"Chicago is a magnificent city with world-class museums, great restaurants
and shopping, and good public transportation. In fact, I worked in Chicago for
almost 10 years, and in all that time I never had a problem with crime while on
the job."
The first man asked "What did you do there?"
The co-worker replied, "I was a tail-gunner on a bread truck."
