Editor’s note:Do you need something to smile about? Every day, WND selects the best joke offered up by readers and contributors to its Laughlines forum and brings it to you as the WND Joke of the Day. Here is today’s offering:

He began by reading from his prepared text. “I want to talk about my parents the wonderful influence they’ve had on my life,” he told the audience. “They’re a shining example of parenthood, and I love them more than words could ever do justice.”
At this point he seemed to struggle for words.
After a pause he looked up with a grin and said, “It’s really hard to read my mom’s handwriting.”
