On Thursday, President Obama and members of his national security team outlined almost half a trillion dollars in recommended defense spending cuts over the next ten years. Is this a necessary part of addressing our debt and a changing role for the military? Or is the U.S. preparing to endanger our national security and relinquish our role as a world leader?
