Iran to return U.S. drone β as pink toy
'He said he wanted it back, and we will send him one'
(TELEGRAPH) — Rather than giving back the multi-million dollar piece of spyware, which has been gleefully paraded for the world’s cameras, an Iranian toy maker has promised to send the White House a pink plastic toy replica of the downed drone.
The Ayeh Art group has been doing a brisk trade in models of the RQ-170, producing around 2,000 a day, and in an inspired moment of self-publicity has promised to reserve one for President Obama.
βHe said he wanted it back, and we will send him one,β said Reza Kioumars, the company’s head of cultural production.
