(ONENEWSNOW) — More than 150 social conservatives will meet on a Texas ranch Friday and Saturday to consider uniting behind a like-minded Republican in the presidential campaign.

Family Research Council president Tony Perkins says many of the evangelical, Catholic and fiscal conservatives are looking for an alternative to Mitt Romney, and fear their influence will be diluted if they remain divided.
