(LOS ANGELES TIMES) — When The Times asked auto information company Edmunds.com to rank the 10 worst cars ever sold in America, one of the vehicles they left off the list was the AMC Pacer.
An Edmunds editor said the much-reviled Pacer almost made the list, but that it had a some interesting styling features that made it just a notch better than some of the other vehicles on the list, including the remarkably ugly Pontiac Aztek and the famously exploding Ford Pinto.
The Times asked online readers to vote on a car they thought was missing from the list of the worst 10 and the Pacer was a winner by a long shot.
