(SMH) — The family of NSW teenager Alex Wildman, who committed suicide after being repeatedly bullied at school, will receive a six-figure payout after settling their lawsuit against the NSW Education Department today.
Alex, 14, took his life in July 2008, after a series of violent run-ins with bullies at Kadina High School in the state’s north.
In 2010, a coroner found that the bullying was a significant factor in Alex’s death.
