(ABC NEWS) The JetBlue pilot who was restrained Tuesday aboard a Las Vegas-bound flight after erratic behavior has been suspended from his duties.

“As of now, he’s been taken off all active duties and responsibilities pending further investigation,” JetBlue spokeswoman Tamara Young told ABCNews.com today.

Captain Clayton Osbon, 49, suffered a panic attack, according to law enforcement sources, while the FAA called the incident a medical emergency.
