(NYDAILYNEWS) — A group of Colorado high school students are slapping their faculty yearbook adviser with charges of discrimination after they say she made them yank a photo of two lesbian students holding hands from this year’s edition, according to a local report.

Rudolpho Tribulio and Anna Carmichael, of Palmer High in Colorado Springs, said the adviser booted them from the yearbook staff and two others quit over the gay photo flap, local station KRDO reported.

“She told me, in these exact words, ‘You either cut the gay couple or I cut the page,'” Tribulio told the station.

The photo of the girls holding hands was to appear on a page showing photos of couples at the school.
