This week, the Congressional Budget Office announced that the cost of
the president’s new health care laws over the next ten years would be
$1.76 trillion – almost double the original 10-year estimate when the
bill was passed.

“This cost is only going to go up, $1.76 trillion is only the floor, not the ceiling, this number will continue to rise,” said Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.), a longtime physician.

He says Republicans repeatedly warned that this would happen prior to
passage of the bill in 2010. Price says Republicans remain committed to
full repeal of the laws if the Supreme Court doesn’t order it first.

In the meantime, he details the efforts to roll back the laws piece by
piece. And Price discusses why Obamacare will remain a huge issue come
November.
