Dear Brother Farah,

First I thank and admire you for standing strong on the Obama birth issue. I’m with you on that one.
I just happened upon your column “To those Israel-rejecting Christians.”

The article made me sad and disappointed for many reasons. Sad because it perpetuates so many of the Zionist, Futurist lies that have taken over evangelical and charismatic Christianity (but not the Orthodox). Disappointed because I thought you to be a better scholar than that.

I used to be where you are, so I know where you’re coming from, but then the Lord started teaching me, 30 years ago when I was in the Seminary at ORU in Tulsa. In the past three years He’s had me digging into it like I’ve never studied anything before.
Let me just say with as much respect as I can that you just don’t understand.

You’ve believed the Zionist lies and the Israeli AIPAC propaganda that was started at least in part by the charlatan of a scholar C.I. Scofield and his Futurist interpretations of the Bible. …

My dear brother, it’s much more complex than you grasp. Don’t trust appearances. They might be among the grandest of deceptions of history, which I believe is the case.  The Church did not replace Israel. Rather, the good fig Jews like John, Peter, James, Mary and Martha, who were from Israel, morphed through the New Birth into the Church, like a butterfly hatching out of the cocoon of the Old Covenant.

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Elmer Dean Cozzens
