The feds, always looking for something to do, have come up with another real winner – unmanned aerial drones to monitor American’s everyday activities, such as driving to work if they are lucky enough to have a job. Since anything airborne can plummet to earth, we would now have to watch the sky as well as the road. That would give rise to such scenarios as: “Honest officer, I didn’t see the light change because I noticed the drone watching me seemed to be losing altitude, and I was afraid it was going to crash into someone’s house.” Maybe we should now have a drone-crash provision in our homeowner’s insurance … and also hope the drone pilots in their distant locations don’t have to take too many bathroom breaks.
