I just read the piece about General Mills and its politically correct decision to encourage an amendment allowing homosexuals to marry. By choosing to disrespect one very large portion of the population, and taking a position that embraces the far left regarding homosexuals, it has drawn a line in the sand that I refuse to step over. I’ve already removed many PC businesses from my checkbook and will continue to do so. The latest casualty? General Mills.
As a former businesswoman, I hired homosexuals. They were treated the same as everybody else in my employ. How dare the LGBT bunch demonize those who don’t believe in their agenda!
I, for one, am tired of the left’s vindictive reasoning and am incensed that General Mills was stupid enough to engage in itself in this social issue.
In the meantime, keep up the good work of keeping us informed. I know that I will not read or hear of this in the liberal media, which is supposed to report the news. Instead, like business, they cave when they should remain neutral.
