(POLITICO) — A former Iowa staffer to Michele Bachmann’s campaign has filed suit in Des Moines against Bachmann, her presidential campaign and a number of top staffers over a list of names of home-schooling parents that was used to send some campaign emails.

The suit is here, but it was filed by a former staffer for the campaign, Barbara Heki, who says in the suit she ended up taking the fall for the misuse of the list — and accuses former Bachmann Iowa campaign head Kent Sorenson of purloining it.

The suit was filed this afternoon, according to Heki’s lawyer, Dan Dykstra. A Bachmann congressional spokesman didn’t respond to an email.

Reached by phone, Sorenson told POLITICO this was the first he was hearing of the lawsuit and that the accusations she made against him “absolutely did not happen.”
