Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse investigators have produced a series of videos to document their conclusion that the Barack Obama birth document released by the White House in 2011 fraudulent.
The sheriff and lead investigator Mike Zullo spoke at a news conference yesterday in which Arpaio said the investigation should be advanced to the federal level because of what he described as an imminent threat to national security and U.S. immigration law.
The threat is from a flaw in Hawaii’s law found by investigators that allows a foreigner to obtain a Hawaii birth certificate.
Arpaio said he could not hold on to information that threatens national security, although he was unsure to whom the information should go, since the logical choices all report to Obama.
He said that in any case, he will keep his case file open.
Among the findings from Zullo:
- The sheriff’s investigators have learned of a birth certificate coding system that indicates the White House document has been altered.
- An interview with the Hawaii official who allegedly signed the Obama document in 1961, Verna K.L. Lee, provided further confirmation of the coding anomalies.
- Investigators were troubled to find key information missing on the verification document Hawaii provided to Arizona’s secretary of state in May.
- Hawaii’s deputy attorney general, Jill T. Nagamine, confirmed the state has a birth document on file for Obama. But she would not confirm on the record that the White House document matched what was on file with the Hawaii Department of Health.
- The sheriff’s investigators interviewed three persons of interest who have provided additional information in the case.
In the first video, the Cold Case Posse addresses the fact layers in PDF files are created when items are optimized. But the investigators note that the layers in the PDF file released by Obama are not consistent with the layers produced by optimizing, “but are consistent with document tampering.”
The report says two independent researchers ran some 1,200 tests. Each separately concluded the anomalies in the PDF file purported to be scan of Obama’s long-form birth certificate cannot be duplicated using known forms of compression.
In the second video, the investigators reveal that the document’s contents show evidence of tampering. Using a handbook for government paperwork from 1961, they found definitions for the hand-written numbers on the Obama document.
They pointed to fields on the document in which a clerk had handwritten the number 9, indicating the information was not provided. Yet the boxes contained information.
The investigators asked, if the applicant didn’t provide the information, where did it come from? They noted that in one of the boxes, the word “African” was entered to indicate the father’s race. But they pointed out that term was not used for those documents until 1989.
They also report birth registration was compulsory in Hawaii in 1961, but the state accepted unsworn testimony about births. Hawaii issued birth certificates to children born anywhere in the world if the parents were residents of the state and paid taxes there for one year before the birth.
According to state law, Hawaii only has information about the birth on file but does not make representations about the truth or accuracy of that information. The investigators said a Hawaii birth certificate therefore cannot prove a Hawaiian birth.
Investigators also found they were less then welcome in Hawaii. After they checked in with the local police department as a courtesy before asking questions, they found police had been summoned when they approached the office of the state registrar.
They also noted that the deputy attorney general declined to verify the Obama document, and they reported they were asked to leave Kapiolani Hospital, the hospital indicated on the Obama birth document posted on the White House website.
They also addressed the fact that Obama’s birth certificate number is higher than the numbers for twins who were born at Kapiolani after him, the Nordykes. Investigators said the circumstances strongly suggest Obama could not have been born at the hospital. They believe his birth information was reported by an outlying office of the state records department.
