Your ultimate destiny and occupation are far greater than floating on a cloud in heaven doing a whole bunch of nothingness except staring at the face of God while strumming a harp, according to a brand-new book released this week that sheds light on your underpublicized personal future as revealed in the Bible.
“The Divine Secret: The Awesome and Untold Truth About Your Phenomenal Destiny” by Joe Kovacs, author of the No. 1 bestseller “Shocked by the Bible,” finally explains the real reason why God created human beings in the first place, why this life is so hard, and the inspiring, magnificent future intended for the followers of Jesus that most churches don’t wish to discuss, despite it being clearly spelled out on the pages of your own Bible.
As Kovacs points out in “The Divine Secret,” “If you ask a typical believer on the street what they’ll be doing for all eternity, there’s a very good chance you’ll hear an answer along the lines of, ‘I’ll be spending it with Jesus, just looking at Him as I float on a cloud and play a harp. Hallelujah!’
“I’ve asked this question of others, and a Christian woman in her twenties once told me, ‘I’ll be looking at Jesus’ face forever.’ I asked her again to be a little more specific about her activities year after year, decade after decade, century after century, throughout all eternity. The only answer she could come up with was, ‘Just looking at Jesus’ face.'”
“Don’t laugh,” writes Kovacs. “That’s actually a very common belief among people who call themselves believers, because they simply haven’t grasped yet how incredible their destiny is, and how they’ll be spending their time. Yes, believers will definitely get to see Jesus’ face, but so many are under the mistaken impression they’ll suddenly float up to their new personal address on a specific cloud and dwell forever there, strumming away on a harp or some other musical instrument, all the while praising God.”
He continues: “Others may imagine that they’ll spend their immortality in the sky, enjoying the very same activities they enjoyed during their physical lifetimes, whether it’s non-stop fishing, golfing, skiing, painting, singing, shopping, lounging, snoozing, or whatever it is that floated their boat.
“Please don’t get me wrong. All those things sound kinda nice, but imagine doing the same thing over and over, day after day, year after year, millennia after millennia. You’d probably get a bit bored, to say the least. There are two problems with that scenario: 1) it’s simply not biblical; and 2) it provides really little, if any, meaning to our challenge-filled lives here.
“Human beings were not designed in the image and likeness of God and put here in our temporary physical bodies to resist and overcome evil for a given number of years, merely to win an atmospheric apartment on a cloud with a picturesque view of Jesus’ face and an eternal round of sky golf, absent the greens fees. Sorry to burst your bubble if you happened to think that was really God’s grand plan.”
In “The Divine Secret,” Kovacs goes through hundreds of Holy Scriptures, especially the ones focusing on your future: everything from becoming actual children of God and partakers of the divine nature to judging angels, sitting down on the throne of Jesus, and ruling and reigning alongside the Creator of the universe.
“If people knew what was really in store for them, they’d instantly get their act together to be part of the kingdom of God,” said Kovacs. “Part of Jesus’ message when He came to Earth some 2,000 years ago was to tell us, in effect, to ‘Knock it off!’ – to stop disobeying His commandments, so we can take part in His divine government.”
“The Divine Secret” also reveals what will likely happen to the many who never heard God’s truth during their lives – or perhaps were confused about it. That revelation, drawn from the words of your own Bible, is not what you probably think. It’s most likely not what you’ve been taught – and it’ll leave you absolutely stunned.
A special feature of “The Divine Secret” is that all personal comments from God are highlighted in red letters, even from the OLD Testament. This really brings to life God’s incredible plan.
“I’ve never understood why people make most Bibles showing red letters in the New Testament only, when it’s the same God as in the Old Testament,” Kovacs said. “Seeing the Creator’s personal remarks highlighted in the Old Testament is something every lover of God and the Bible needs to experience. You don’t want to miss a single word spoken by our loving God, and ‘The Divine Secret’ helps provide the prominence they deserve.
In addition to clearly explaining the true meaning of life, “The Divine Secret” also investigates:
- The real nature of miracles
- More than one resurrection from the dead in the future
- What the Bible really means by “the kingdom of God”
- The future “quickening” spoken of in the New Testament
- The benefits of suffering
- “American Idol” and “Dancing With the Stars” have something very important in common with your biblical destiny
- Eating and drinking in the eternal kingdom of God
- Special abilities you can have in the kingdom of God
- The intriguing future of animals
- And much more!
“If you liked ‘Shocked by the Bible,’ you’ll love ‘The Divine Secret,'” said Kovacs. “This book finally puts the answers so many are seeking into clear and simple terms. When you finally come to grips with the fact the Bible actually means what it says, you’ll understand the glorious truth about your purpose, and the purpose of everyone who has ever existed.”
