I greatly appreciate the searing commentary piece on Rick Warren.

Having experienced the attitudes cited in the article, it is sure nice to know that that there are people and news agencies that are not afraid to expose these left-winged, prophet-for-profit “leaders.” I refuse to call them even religious preachers!

I sat under (probably a follower of Warren) a preacher who exhibited these traits for eight years. I am just a teacher who listened to the people around ask why so many good people left under strange circumstances, so I began to investigate and learned many startling facts.

I had been uncomfortable for a while, but I tried to pray through it. Finally, I did something I’ve never done and hope to never have to do again: I confronted this preacher, was verbally attacked, asked to resign my class and was forced to leave.

Thanks to God, my family was led to a great church with a great pastor/preacher who leads by the Bible, not by a twisted philosophy.

1 Kings 19: 18 was the answer to my prayer: “Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.”

God bless. Stay strong and keep reporting the real truth!

Ken
