(NEWS.com.au) — A MOTHER who complained her young son was given fruit that was not cut up and fed “too many chips and ice creams” by his dad has won custody.
The woman asked a court for the six-year-old to live with her, blaming – in part – his father’s lack of care for his nutrition.
She said the boy’s school lunches of “whole fruits and jam sandwiches” were no good for the “fussy eater”.
The mother claimed the boy could not eat fruit unless it was cut.
