In this podcast, economist, columnist, radio host and international conference speaker Jerry Robinson of "Follow the Money Weekly" tells his listeners that the major indexes last week "closed their worst five-day period in four months."
"Stocks are now officially in correction mode after strong and consistent outflows by institutional investors," he said. "Next week, stock investors should pay close attention to the key support level of 1420 on the S&P 500 Index. If we close below this level next week, stocks could quicken their decline."
Robinson discusses the seven threats to stocks in the near term, and what they mean to the rally that has been developing since June.
Now, he suggested, the markets are "flashing warning signs."
Next up is precious metals adviser Tom Cloud, who looks at the gold and silver markets, at a time when they both are at levels seen rarely.
In the second half-hour is Jay Peroni, a certified financial planner who discusses a natural and organic food company, Hain Celestial, and what he thinks will happen to it.
In the week's Retirement Minute, adviser John Bearss gets a handle on the state death tax and the federal income tax.
"John first explains the different types of taxes that are imposed on your estate upon death at the state level. He also dissects the federal income tax and how it will impact your estate."
