(AUSTRIAN TIMES) — A school director at a primary school in Vöcklabruck is in hot water after she authorised the mounting of a CCTV camera in the boys toilets to try and force the children to be more careful when using the urinals.

The camera device was fitted after cleaners had complained about the lack of hygiene among the boys when using the toilet and was fitted without the knowledge of parents.

When it was discovered that the toilet had the device parents complained at which point the teacher denied that there had been a camera installed – and when confronted with pictures she admitted that in fact it was simply a realistic looking fake.
