Mr. Farah:

My wife and I are Americans leading an independent Protestant church in Germany. We’ve watched from this side of the Atlantic for over 20 years as an ever greater portion of America has systematically rejoiced over its abandonment and rejection of godly principles.

I, too, expect America to suffer greatly in the next few years as a consequence of its rampant sins. I’m praying to develop compassion for those leading America in the direction of destruction. My current bitterness is displeasing to God.

Romney, despite his deficiencies, was infinitely preferable to Obama, and I’m very disappointed with the election results – but, as I said from the pulpit recently: There are no political solutions to political problems.

The country’s Christian foundations must be repaired. Everything else is merely lipstick on a pig.
