'SNL' mocks Christie's 'bromance' with Obama

(DAILYMAIL) — Saturday Night Live took on Hurricane Sandy in a hilarious skit last night, mocking the New Jersey Governor’s bromance with President Obama and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s stilted Spanish.

The side-splitting show also highlighted how the deadly natural disaster has wiped Mitt Romney off the news agenda, with a spoof Republican Presidential nominee declaring: ‘This week has been very trying for a lot of Americans… and in these trying times I think there is something very important that a lot of people are forgetting: I’m Mitt Romney, and I’m still running for president.’

Played by Bobby Moynihan, Governor Christie praised Obama for his support in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, which left more than 100 people dead and thousands of homes underwater.
