Football player booted for 'racist' Obama tweet
Calls president N-word during speech about shooting
(DAILYMAIL) — A North Alabama football player was dismissed from the team after posting a racist tweet Sunday aimed at President Obama while he spoke at the memorial for the Newtown massacre victims.
Bradley Patterson, the Lions’ third-string long-snapper, was apparently frustrated that Obama’s speech was interrupting NBC’s coverage of Sunday Night Football.
‘Take that n***** off the tv, we wanna watch football!’ Patterson wrote on his Twitter account, which has since been deleted.
