Sam Donaldson arrested for DUI in Delaware
Police say 78-year-old ABC reporter, political correspondent pulled over on Dec. 1
(New York Daily News) Former ABC political correspondent and news anchor Sam Donaldson was arrested earlier this month on drunk driving charges in Delaware.
Donaldson, 78, was pulled over in Lewes on the evening of Dec. 1 by local police after an officer saw him drive on the shoulder of the road, according to Delaware radio station 105.9
He failed a field sobriety test, Lewes Police Chief Jeff Horvath told 105.9.
He was charged with drunk driving and released.
