GPS trackers sought for pharmacy-pill bottles

(MYFOXNY) — The New York Police Department wants pharmacies in and around the city to fight prescription drug thefts by stocking pill bottles fitted with GPS tracking chips.

The New York Police Department believes the so-called “bait bottles” could help investigators track stolen drugs and locate suspects.
