Robber gets bashed with bat, starts sobbing

(NEWS.com.au) — An armed robber at a service station in Germany appears to have gotten more than he bargained for when he was bashed into submission with a baseball bat.

The masked man had demanded cash from the service station worker in Oldenburg in Germany at around 3.55am but he didn’t know that the attendant kept a weapon close to hand.

“I knew that a baseball bat was standing there,” 20-year-old attendant Robert told German tabloid news website bild.de.
