As Bob Dylan wrote, "You're gonna have to serve somebody. Well, it may be the devil or it may be the Lord, but you're gonna have to serve somebody."
That's the choice all of us living on planet Earth must make. Whom are we going to serve? There are only two choices – the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob or the No. 1 adversary, the deceiver, the tempter – Satan, the true leader of the original hell's angels.
It's really that simple.
And time is running out.
Why is time running out?
Time's running out because at any given moment, mortal human beings could breathe their last breath. That's been true since Creation. But there's another reason time's running out – not just for each person reading these words, but for all of humanity.
You can see the world crumbling all around you. The economy is falling apart. Morals are breaking down. We face asymmetric security threats that can bring down the world's greatest superpower to the level of a Third World country in 24 hours. The U.S. is not the great safe haven of freedom and security it once was.
All of this is exactly what we would expect in the last days.
Since the fall of Lucifer, he has literally been "the prince of this world." But he has been judged and is about to be cast out of this world just as he was cast out of heaven.
What happens then?
All those who live at that time and all those who have ever lived will be judged along with him. Whom did they serve? Did they serve the Lord, or did they serve the devil?
Nations, too, will be judged.
And Jesus-Yeshua will rule as king on the throne of David in Jerusalem over the entire earth for 1,000 years.
Does this sound like a fairytale to you?
Or do you recognize it as the truth?
The world is full of scoffers today. They are found in the citadels of political power and positions of powerlessness and despair. They include people of great wealth and among the poor. They are found in the media, in Hollywood and all of the major cultural institutions of our day. They are even found in churches and synagogues. Some of them are even serving as priests, pastors and rabbis.
But all of this is part of the script. It was all predicted with great accuracy.
Just read II Peter 3:3-10: "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
What's the solution? How does one escape certain death? How do we prepare for this coming cataclysm?
Peter provides the answer a few verses later in speaking to fellow believers.
"Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."
Time's running out.
The clock is ticking.
The whole world is heading into the most perilous period in its history since the Flood.
History is reaching its climax.
The choice is yours and simple – death or eternal life.
There's no middle ground.
Are you going to separate yourself from this world and live for God – or are you going to pretend that none of these events, foretold by the oracles of God, will ever come to pass?
I've been studying Bible prophecy for 35 years.
There's an urgency in my writing that would not have been there 25 years ago, 10 years ago or even five years ago.
That's because there are things happening in our world right now that strongly suggest we may not have another 25 years, 10 years or even five.
This is a time for decision for every member of the human race.
Are you going to be among the scoffers and mockers, the proud and the blasphemers, the unholy and worldly? Are you content with a form of godliness that denies the power and the promises of God? Will you continue as a lukewarm "believer," who God promises to spew out of His mouth?
My intent is to convict you of your sins, to shake you to your core, turn your world right-side up, provide you with a fear of God that will completely reorient the way you think and behave and encourage you to become a sold-out, no-apologies, repentant, spirit-filled, born-again child of God's Kingdom who will live forever in eternal bliss.
But there is a caveat – a big one. This is a limited-time offer. Time's running out.
You know what to do. Get right with God. It's just that simple.
