(New York Daily News) A Virginia kindergarten teacher tried to hire a $8,500 hit man to kill her ex-husband but was busted when she contracted an undercover cop for the job, police have said.
Angela Nolen, 47, is accused of plotting — with school nurse Cathy Warren Bennett, 37 — to murder former partner Paul Strickler, 63.
The duo, who work at Sontag Elementary School in Rocky Mount, were arrested in the alleged murder-for-hire scheme on Wednesday.
Nolen was charged with solicitation to commit murder, while Bennett was charged as an accessory to solicitation.
