Limbaugh blasts president's 'puppets' in media

Limbaugh ripped into Politico.com for being the president’s “puppets,” arguing journalists used to try to expose government cover-ups; now they participate in them! (FREE audio).
“Panetta said he never heard from him the rest of the day or night,” said Limbaugh of Obama, accusing the journalists of negligent reporting on Benghazi. “Now, if that were George W. Bush or Ronald Reagan, you would be digging up every rock that you could to find out where the hell the president was while these four Americans were under assault. But with Obama, you didn’t seem to care.”
Limbaugh’s audience was further shocked when he uttered this week, “For the first time in my life, I’m ashamed of my country.”
He explained that the sequestration battle had left him exasperated (FREE audio).
“I’ve said the same things over and over for 25 years,” Limbaugh said. “Whether the Clinton presidency or the Obama presidency, whether it’s a Pelosi speakership or Tom Foley (who was speaker when I started), it’s the same stuff. It’s the same threats. It’s the same arguments over and over. Nothing ever changes!”
“Today, we won a big victory,” Savage told listeners.
In a rare win against the all-powerful American Civil Liberties Union, a judge threw out one of those “Ten Commandments” lawsuits that are regularly filed by trouble-making atheists.
“As far as I’m concerned, the ACLU should be arrested for subversion,” Michael Savage declared. “The ACLU – the most anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-family, anti-police, anti-military organization – has done more damage to this country than all of the organized criminal families in the history of America and all our foreign enemies in the last 20 years” (FREE audio).
Neither Mark Levin nor Mark Krikorian of the Center for Immigration Studies are impressed by Marco Rubio’s amnesty proposal.
“Everybody gets amnesty immediately [under Rubio's plan],” Krikorian explained, “but they get a work visa status, not a regular Green Card.”
However, he added, it amounts to a difference without a distinction (FREE audio).
Mark Levin also weighed in on reports that the Department of Homeland Security is stockpiling millions of hollow-point bullets.
“I’m going to tell you what I think is going on,” Levin said. “I don’t think insurrection. Law enforcement and national security agencies – they play out multiple scenarios. They simulate multiple scenarios. I’ll tell you what I think they’re simulating: the collapse of our financial system, the collapse of our society and the potential for widespread violence, looting, killing in the streets, because that’s what happens when an economy collapses” (FREE audio).
A so-called “living wage” will kill the American economy, Klein explained on this week’s show, while critiquing a program called “Paycheck Fairness.”
Klein also revealed that Obamacare will inevitably lead to the rationing of health care, discussed the government’s plans to grant “executive amnesty” and looked at the latest developments in the Chuck Hagel confirmation hearings (FREE audio).
Dr. Ron Paul condemned Obama’s plan to use drones on U.S. soil as unconstitutional.
“The government is supposed to protect our privacy, but here they are invading our privacy,” he told Ingraham. “They are doing exactly the opposite of what they are supposed to do” (FREE audio).
Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, R-Utah, came on the show to discuss his views on amnesty for illegals and border security.
“We can achieve much better results if we much forward in a much more incremental fashion,” Lee said, “without having to jump whole hog into a direct pathway to citizenship” (FREE audio).
One of Beck’s former “man crushes” – Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey – has disappointed him once again.
“I feel about Rand Paul the way I used to feel about Chris Christie,” Beck admitted this week. “I thought Chris Christie was really good and I ignored a few things that kind of bothered me. But now, I don’t like Chris Christie” (FREE video).
Beck added that he has no more patience for “big, government, establishment Republicans,” either.
