• He's just not a smart man, simple as that
• It could be early-onset Alzheimer's or some other dementia
• It's a combination of his big ego and low IQ
• He never got the memo on the benefits of using a teleprompter
• You'd mess up too if you had to defend Obama all day
• He suffers from Democrat-itis
• It is rather remarkable, especially when you consider how Dan Quayle's one gaffe ended his career
• The gaffes are embarrassing, but really no big deal
• I'd rather have a leader speak candidly and make gaffes than read from a teleprompter and fool millions
• He's passionate about what he believes in, I can respect that
