Breaking with stereotype, the National Rifle Association has hired "urban gun enthusiast" Colion Noir as a regular contributor to its news program, NRA News.
"A guy telling me to get rid of my guns when I need them the most isn't my friend," Noir says in a montage produced by NRA news to promote him.
His arguments against gun control are creative, if not provocative.
"David Gregory wears makeup and has a spray-on tan, and he was able to get his hands on an illegal magazine," Noir said, referring to the NBC "Meet the Press host's controversial display of a high-capacity ammunition magazine on his show.
"How hard do you think it would be for Pooky, Billy, Win and Jesus to get their hands on one if they wanted to?"
The NRA says Noir will be the first in "a series of diverse contributors."
He is "unlike anyone you have seen on NRA programming before," the organization says.
