(Politico) Angry at the Pentagon’s new 2014 spending plan, the nation’s largest association of military officers took its case to Capitol Hill on Wednesday, pressing lawmakers to oppose the Obama administration’s latest proposals to rein in military personnel costs.

The Military Officers Association of America visited nearly every congressional office in a single day, splitting the task among 150 members representing all 50 states as part of its annual “Storming the Hill” event.
