Regarding a Democratic lawmaker making a bullet “gaffe” – she might not have been totally wrong.

With the way the government is buying up ammo, once you empty your magazines, there just might not be any ammo left to refill them. No bullets, no reason to have the high-capacity mags. I think she knows something and let it slip. Sometimes you have to read between the lines.

Russian ammo is drying up because Russia is starting to stockpile. Korean ammo is going to dry up, and American ammo is being bought up by our government faster than the companies can produce it, which means the consumer can hardly get any. Any more orders by our government should convince everyone that it is just a way to keep Americans from buying ammo.
