(Charlotte Observer) A Rock Hill teacher accused of assaulting a student will be looking for a new job.

Daniel Johns, 35, resigned from his position at Rosewood Elementary last week.

He’s been on paid administrative leave since he was accused of grabbing a girl and bruising her arm back in March. Police say the third-grader had bruises on her arm in the form of a hand and fingerprints from where Johns grabbed her and lifted her up to escort her into his classroom.
