In the world of live television news, disasters constantly loom on the horizon.
And how broadcasters deal with technical glitches is often a testament to their character.
Case in point is Lisa Hidalgo, the meteorologist for KMGH-TV, the ABC affiliate in Denver, Colo.
As she was providing her viewers details of the latest snowfall in Colorado last week, the camera focusing on her suddenly dropped down, taking aim at her feet.

"Wow!" Hidalgo shouted as she noticed the camera's new angle. (Click to see the video below:)
Immediately, the weather woman turned into a dancing Wonder Woman of sorts, performing an impromptu jig, singing, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!"
But that wasn't the end.
Hidalgo then crouched down on all fours to continue giving the forecast, while looking up into the camera.
"So it's gonna be kind of cold today. Temps in the 30s," she said. "By tonight we should see some clearing skies. All right, you have a good one!"
Hidalgo then crawled on her hands and knees out of the camera shot, all the while giggling.
YouTube fans are clicking bigtime on the clip, with more than 200,000 views for one version of the glitch.
One TV viewer tweeted Hidalgo, saying, "Thanks for showing off your awesome dancing skills :)"
Hidalgo responded, saying "Awesome? I dance like a mom now! But I don't wear mom jeans."
Brian Adams of DeathandTaxesMag.com noted, "The Internet generally loves to eat broadcast journalist bloopers for breakfast – not because of the technical mistakes made, but their stuffed-shirt personalities that get so easily thrown off. Props to Lisa Hidalgo for being comfortable enough in her own skin and handling this slip-up with finesse."
And on YouTube, Adrian Ornelas said, "She's doin' the Ashlee Simpson. When in doubt, do the hoedown I guess."
Ashlee Simpson, the singer and sister of Jessica Simpson, did an impromptu dance of her own on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" in 2009 when a technical glitch exposed that she was lip-synching to the wrong song.
