WASHINGTON – "The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment," the bestselling faith movie for 2012 and 2013, has just received two new honors.
The Gideon Media Arts Conference and Film Festival made it the official festival selection for its event July 16 in Orlando, Fla., while Christian Retailing magazine has named it one of three finalists in the best movie category, announced producer Joseph Farah of the WND Films release. The winner of will be announced at the International Christian Retail Show in St. Louis in June.
The Gideon Media Arts Conference and Film Festival describes itself as an event "where cutting-edge media arts are combined with one of the most unique Christian conferences and Christian film festivals in the country."
"The Gideon was started to give Christians who are interested in the media arts a place to encourage their talents, a venue to meet, learn, network, and get advice from experts in the industry, and the opportunity to develop working and personal relationships that extend long after the Gideon is over."

In each category of the Christian Retailing awards, three finalists are named, although some categories have more than three due to ties in the voting. The other finalists for movies are: "Amazing Love: The Story of Hosea" (Bridgestone Multimedia Group) and "The Letter Writer" (Bridgestone Multimedia Group). "The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment" is a production of WND Films.
Those who qualified to vote in the awards this year were asked to judge the nominations on their impact, including their ability to speak to people's hearts and evoke emotion; open people's minds to new ways of thinking; and encourage and affirm Christ-like living.
Besides awards for movies, Christian Retailing presents them for Bibles, books (fiction and non-fiction), Bible study and reference, devotionals, gifts, accessories and apparel.
"We're immensely honored at WND Films to be a finalist for best movie by Christian Retailing," said Farah. "We're even more excited by the fact that this honor will make more people aware of the movie and its powerful message about the state of America and the absolute need for believers to follow the prescription of II Chronicles 7:14 to save the nation from further judgment."
Farah added: "We were doubly blessed to learn that the Gideon Media Arts Conference and Film Festival has chosen the movie as its official festival selection and invited Jonathan Cahn to be the keynote speaker."
