Regarding your story “‘Impure thoughts’ shatter 12-year-old girl’s dream”: I am a retired coach/teacher/referee, and I had a girl playing left tackle for me for three years. She was the toughest lineman I had. One year we won the championship, and she was a major reason why. She played in the opposing team’s backfield the whole year and forced one coach to call out from the sideline, “What’s that GIRL doing in my backfield”? She turned to him and said, “Sacking your quarterback, coach!” There was no more talk about her playing. She went on and played high school ball and was one tough lineman. There was no loose talk, sex talk or anything.

I believe that if a girl can play the game, then let her play!
