A high-school English teacher in Houston is facing criminal charges after one of her erotic dreams reportedly prompted her to seduce a 16-year-old girl at her school.

Kelly Ann Garcia, 29, of Hastings High School is charged with indecency with a child and sexual assault of a child, after the pair allegedly engaged in having sex numerous times.

According to KHOU-TV, the female victim was not even a student of Garcia, but met the instructor through a mutual friend. The girl said Garcia would stay with her after school numerous times while she was working on a classroom project.

Court documents indicate the pair’s relationship crossed the line during this year’s spring break.

On March 21, Garcia picked up the girl, and went to Starbucks for coffee. It was at the coffee shop that the teacher told the teen about her romantic dream involving the student.

A week later, Garcia texted the girl to inform her she had just broken up with her boyfriend, and the pair expressed personal feelings for each other.

The teen told Garcia she needed to see her, and the teacher picked her up in a rental car to drive the girl back to her apartment, “where they kissed passionately for the rest of the evening.”

The following day, the pair reportedly went shopping together for a sex toy at the Katz Boutique and Sex Shop.

“The allegation is that they did in fact drive to a store and purchase a sex toy and drive back to the defendant’s apartment where they engaged in sex,” said prosecutor Markay Stroud.

Garcia and the student allegedly had more sexual encounters over the next few days, and during that time, the teen said she saw Garcia have numerous emotional breakdowns on campus, with one prompting the teacher to be sent home.

The relationship came to light when the girl started bragging about her sexcapades to her fellow students, and word eventually reached administrators.

When questioned, the teen confirmed the allegations, but the sexual relationship continued.

Police say the teacher continued “sneaking around with the teen even while the investigation was ongoing.”

The girl’s father even caught the two at a park together on May 21, but Garcia sped off when he tried to confront her.

“He was outraged and disappointed and called 911,” the girl’s mother told the TV station.

She believes her daughter was taken advantage of, but still doesn’t know it.

“She just barely turned 16. At that age, you don’t know what you’re doing, what you’re getting yourself into,” the mother said.

Police say Garcia was fired from her teaching job in March when the probe began.

Last week, she posted $60,000 bail and was ordered to stay away from the teen.

KHOU reporter Drew Karedes asked Garcia as he chased her down the street after she posted bail, “Is there anything you want to say to the parents who trusted you?”

“Just leave me alone,” was her only response once cornered.

“I know it’s very hard on the complainant’s family. It’s very hard on my client’s family,” said Sam Dick, Garcia’s attorney. “This is something nobody expected.”
