(The Examiner) The ice in the drink you just purchased from your favorite fast food restaurant likely contains more harmful bacteria than water from the toilet of the same establishment, according to an article released June 26 on the Mercola.com website.
The study, which was conducted in the UK, found that fast food restaurants such as Starbucks, Burger King and Kentucky Fried Chicken all had levels of bacteria in the ice being served to customers that exceeded those found in the same restaurants' toilets.
