(London Daily Mail) There is soon to be another item on the fast food menu to have with a side of French fries as Burger King returns to the city of Light.

The fast food chain is returning to Paris after 15 years, according to French newspaper Le Figaro.

After closing stores in Paris in 1997 due to poor sales, Burger King is planning to open a branch in St Lazare train station, said the Local.

At one point, the company had 39 French restaurants.

Currently, McDonald’s has 1,200 franchises in France.
