Re: "Who's Obama's best GOP buddy?"
Mr. Farah,
I knew the answer to your question before I even pulled up the column. For me, McCain is a personal disappointment. I live in Arizona. I was so pleased when he first ran for office. He was a true war hero, having endured the horrors of a North Vietnamese prison. He was good looking, married to a good-looking woman and a tireless campaigner. What's not to like?
However, the past couple of years he has drifted away from the conservative principles that got him elected. One can always say he is trying to "get along to get things done" in Congress. But the things that are getting done are not what we elected him to do. He is truly a RINO.
