Obama's everyday scandals

We all know about Benghazi-gate, IRS-gate, Reporter-gate and Fast and Furious – even if the Kool-Aid drinkers in the state-run media would like to forget about those scandals, any one of which would prompt impeachment calls for any Republican president.

But lost in the shadows of this mega-corruption is a pattern of activities by Barack Obama’s administration that is helping him to achieve his stated goal of “fundamentally transforming America.”

Before I address those, however, let me ask you a simple question: Do you want to “fundamentally transform” something you like or love?

Imagine saying to your spouse: “Honey, I love you. But I think it’s time for us to fundamentally transform you.”

How would that fly?

Obviously, no one seeks to “fundamentally transform” anything he or she loves. Therefore, Obama’s desire to “fundamentally transform America” tells us all we need to know about his feelings for the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Now, let me address what I call the boiling cauldron of anti-American mini-scandals being perpetrated by Obama:

What all of these initiatives – and dozens more like them – have in common is the “fundamental transformation of America” in a way that will never allow us to go back.

And that’s the point.

Now, let me ask you another rhetorical question: Who is it that must approve every dime of spending by the Obama administration?

That’s right. It’s the House Republicans, headed by John Boehner.

I keep pinching myself and asking why House Republicans, who claim to be opposed to the “fundamental transformation of America” and who actually claim to love America, continue to borrow money they don’t have to allow Obama to implement his radical, anti-American ideas.

All it would take for the Republicans to stop Obamacare once and for all is to disapprove hiking the debt limit. There’s no reason to bargain with Obama. There’s no reason to try to extract phony “cuts” that are never made. There’s no reason to fool around on the edges of the issues. Just say no to any more borrowing and the Obama Revolution is financially strangled, Period. End of story.

Perhaps the biggest scandal of all is the lack of any real vibrant opposition to the Maoist in the White House from what we once called the Grand Old Party.

Maybe there is no way for Republicans to keep up with all the scandals of the Obama administration. That just makes it all the more necessary to dry up Obama’s political lifeblood – borrowed money.

If you support this idea, join the No More Red Ink campaign to pressure Republican House members to oppose any future increase in the debt limit.
