The White House is "race-baiting" the Trayvon Martin case as part of a Democratic Party plan,” according to the author of a new book that analyzes how Barack Obama defeated Mitt Romney despite being mired in economic crisis and scandal.
Jerome R. Corsi, author of “What Went Wrong: The Inside Story of the GOP Debacle of 2012 … and How It Can Be Avoided Next Time,” said that the Democratic operatives who ran Obama's 2012 presidential case are "whipping up the Democratic base into a frenzy over race."
"Why? It’s simple: Making Trayvon Martin a martyr wipes off the front page news embarrassing to Obama, like the impending Fort Hood murder trial,” Corsi said.
Corsi stressed that the radial leftist operatives that ran Obama’s campaign plan not just to win elections but to destroy the Republican Party and eliminate all political opposition from conservatives.

“Barack Obama and Eric Holder know the Florida law and the civil rights laws will not permit a successful prosecution of George Zimmerman, but they don’t care,” Corsi argued.
“No one should ever forget Obama and the radical leftist operatives behind him are ideologically driven," he continued, "with an agenda that could have been written by a KGB disinformation officer in which any legitimate opposition to Obama is automatically marginalized as racist.”
Disinformation tactics
In “What Went Wrong,” Corsi argues that Obama’s goal is not just to win elections but to destroy the Republican Party by silencing the conservative movement. One means of accomplishing that goal is to characterize as “a racist” anyone who dares criticize Obama on political grounds.
In their new WND Books bestseller, "Disinformation: Former Spy Chief Reveals Secret Strategies for Undermining Freedom, Attacking Religion, and Promoting Terrorism," Lt. Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa, former acting chief of communist Romania’s espionage service, and co-author Ronald J. Rychlak, professor at the University of Mississippi School of Law, point out how KGB disinformation was responsible for creating the religious movement known as liberation theology.
A black version of liberation theology has its roots in radical-leftist churches influenced primarily by theologians James Cone and Dwight Hopkins. They explicitly state their preference for Marxism, because Marxist thought is predicated on a system of oppressor class versus victim class and sees destruction of "the enemy" as the solution.

For some 20 years, Barack Obama was a member of Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s black liberation theology United Christ Church of Christ in Chicago. In the 2008 campaign, Obama was forced to distance himself from Wright after videos of some of the pastor's sermons were exposed in which he expressed racist and anti-American sentiments, including his famous declaration “not God bless America, but God damn America.”
Disinformation over race in America is a key component of Obama’s strategy to silence conservatives, Corsi contends.
“Any conservative who dares to criticize an Obama policy on political grounds is immediately called ‘a racist,’” Corsi said. “The goal is to marginalize the conservative critic, setting the stage to punish even Fox News when the conservative is given an audience.”
A determined attack by the Soros-funded Media Matters was cited as one of the reasons Glenn Beck left Fox News. Media Matters made a $200,000 grant to Citizen Engagement Laboratory, the parent of the left-wing group Color of Change, co-founded by former White House “green jobs” czar Van Jones, to pressure Fox advertisers to drop their sponsorship of the show.

Obama’s goal to silence conservatives
On the day after Obama’s second inauguration, House Speaker John Boehner told a Republican luncheon sponsored by the Ripon society his conclusion that Obama in his second term was aiming to “annihilate the Republican Party.”
“In making these remarks, Boehner was deadly serious,” Corsi said. “By silencing conservatives, Obama intends to move the Republican Party more to the center, a move calculated to destroy the effectiveness of the Republican Party."
Corsi dedicated “What Went Wrong” to Phyllis Schlafly, whose 1964 book “A Choice, Not an Echo,” argued that the Republican Party should stop picking presidential candidates whose political views are largely indistinguishable from those of their liberal Democratic rivals.
Schlafly’s main point was that “me-too” GOP presidential candidates were almost certain to lose, precisely because they were closet leftists presenting themselves as centrists.
“The problem with running McCain and then Romney against Obama,” Corsi explained, “was that either way the Democrats got what they wanted – a left-leaning politician in the White House.”
Corsi argued that the goal of the well-funded and computer-expert operatives running Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign was to frame issues such that Romney could not effectively attack Obama on policy grounds.
“How could Romney attack Obamacare when Romney had introduced a similar government-funded universal health insurance program when he was governor of Massachusetts?” Corsi asked. “Elections in communist nations always have one opponent challenging another so that whichever way the people vote, a communist still wins.”
One day after Obama took the oath of office a second time, the Republican House speaker issued a startling message, putting the Republican Party on notice that President Obama this time around had no interest even in pretending he planned to deal respectfully with the Republican Party as the loyal opposition.
Obama, Boehner insisted, recognizes that he cannot achieve his agenda if blocked by the GOP majority in the House of Representatives, the only stronghold of the federal government the Republican Party could claim after the 2012 general election.
Obama intends to resolve the problem by waging war on the Republican Party, Boehner said, advancing his agenda with the goal of crushing not only Republican opposition in Congress but also the Republican Party itself.
“In our meetings before Christmas, the president was so tired of me talking about when we were going to deal with an entitlement crisis that he looked at me and said: ‘Boehner, we don’t have a spending problem. We have a health care problem.’ It gives you some idea of the challenge that we’re facing,” Boehner said.
“For a guy who’s run up the deficit 60 percent – 60 percent of the deficit has occurred under his watch – when you see this, and then you hear him say: ‘I am not going to negotiate on the debt limit. I am not going to deal with the debt limit. That’s Congress’s problem!’… Frankly, I think it’s irresponsible.”
Speaking in a level tone, Boehner continued, recalling the words of Obama’s second inaugural address the day before.
“And given what we heard yesterday about the president’s vision for his second term, it’s pretty clear to me that he knows he can’t do any of that as long as the House is controlled by Republicans. So we’re expecting over the next 22 months to be the focus of this administration as they attempt to annihilate the Republican Party,” Boehner continued. “And let me just tell you, I do believe that is their goal – to just shove us into the dustbin of history.”
