(ABC News) After cutting ties with her longtime agent last week, Paula Deen, 66, has hired a new legal team, one of the lead lawyers told ABC News.
It’s been a rough few weeks for the Georgia native. After she admitted under oath to using a racial slur in the past, the Food Network, Wal-Mart, and QVC have all cut ties to the celebrity chef and author.
Deen has called on Grace Speights, managing partner for Morgan Lewis, one of the top labor and employment firms in the country, to represent her in the Lisa Jackson lawsuit. It was a deposition that Deen gave in the suit that led to the slur controversy.
